アントニオ猪木氏、死去

プロレスラーから政治家に転身したアントニオ猪木さん（79）が心不全で死去しました。厚生労働省指定の難病「全身性アミロイドーシス」で闘病されていました。

身長1.9メートルの猪木さんは、日本の総合格闘技の先駆者であり、1976年の、レスラー対ボクサーのアリ戦で対戦し一躍有名になりました。

1989年に猪木さんは、今はないスポーツ平和党（2006年に解散）から参議院議員に当選した。
