skibidi：怪しい、ヤバイ、いけてる、ダサい／感嘆語としても使う
※YouTubeのSkibidi Toilet（トイレから人間の頭が生えたキャラ）が発端。ティーンがよく使うナンセンス・ワードです。
A: Did you see that TikTok clip with the cat riding a Roomba while wearing sunglasses?
B: Oh, I was all over it. That’s some skibidi spectacle right there.
・all over it 大いに興味がある ・spectacle（目立つ）光景・right thereまさに
brain rot：脳が腐るくらい何かにはまっている状態
※2024年のオックスフォード・ワード・オブ・ザ・イヤーにも選ばれた、世の中にあふれるインターネットコンテンツ疲れを表す言葉です。
A: I‘ve been binge-watching that anime for days, and now I can’t stop quoting the dialogue.
B: Sounds like full-on brainrot. I’ve been there. It takes over your life for a while.
・binge-watching 一気観する ・full-on 徹底した、全くの ・I’ve been there. 経験済みだ、よくわかるよ
let・・・cook：（好調にやっている）～に好きにやらせておく
※ここでのcookは『料理をする』ではなく『何か素晴らしいものを生み出す』。絶好調な人に、周囲が口出しせずに本人の才能の赴くまま自由に活動させるべきだという時に使います。
A: That rookie forward is having an amazing match―a hat trick in the first 20 minutes!
B:,Yeal, and I hope the manager just lets him cook—he’s in the zone.
eat and leave no crumbs：パーフェクトにこなす、非常によくやる
※直訳は『食べてパンくず一つ残さない』ですが、ミスなく何かを成し遂げた人への称賛として使われます。
A: Did you watch the candidates’ debate last night? It was a clear win for the incumbent.
B: Yeah―she totally ate and left no crumbs.
・candidates’ debate 候補者の討論 ・incumbent 現職者
get caught in 4k：悪事の証拠をはっきり押さえられる、4K画質に犯行が記録されている
※言い逃れのできない確固たる証拠があること。似たような表現はred-handed『現行犯で』（手を血に染めて）です。
A: Is it true Lisa was cheating with her smartphone during the exam？
B: Yep. And she got caught in 4k―two proctors saw it all.

◇Pick-me girl：他の女性をけなしたり否定することで、
※「私は他の子とは違う特別な存在なの」
A: Have you noticed how Val keeps throwing shade on feminism to try to vamp the guys?
B: Ugh, yes. She’s a total pick-me girl.
A: It doesn’t even work―she just comes off as trying too hard.
・throw shade on/at～（遠回しに）～の皮肉を言う、さりげなくディスる ・vampN:毒婦、男たらし V:男をたらしこんで金品を巻き上げる、男をくいものにする
・It doesn‘t work 機能しない、効かない ・come off as～ ～な印象を与える
